All right, I have a poem. The title of this poem is What Was That or What Is That? I want to say What Was That is the title of the poem. All right. As we're standing in line on graduation day, everyone's talking.
and then I see you and you see me. We stare into each other's eyes, knowing that this is the end. We will be going our separate ways, but we stare in each other's eyes as if we're gonna see each other tomorrow. Then all of a sudden, the teacher says, all right, get in line. Time to walk out on the football field.
to sit down and have the graduation ceremony. So we walk out onto the football field, sit down. The principal begins to talk. Then the end of graduation. Everybody's in the parking lot. They all have off their graduation cap and gown.
just walking around the parking lot, talking to each other. And then someone says, hey, let's go to the nightclub. And because they had something special for the graduation class at the nightclub. So as I walked to the car with me and my friends, something tells me to turn around. I turn around and I see you standing on the stairs.
looking at me, telling me to come there. I flipped my hair. I get in the car, thinking that I would see you at the nightclub. And then all of a sudden, go to the nightclub and you're not there. And I realized that was the end. And, um,
So I asked myself, what was that that made me turn around to see you standing on the stairs looking at me? What or who or whatever was that?
